Clinical maneuvers: unpacking, shoeing, etc. Minor surgeries requiring only sedation and minor analgesia, wounds, sutures with the local anesthesia association, etc. Management of unruly animals. Description
Sedative myorelaxant and analgesic for horses

Dosage
Sedation: EV: 0.5 ml / 50 kg of weight (1 to 1.1 mg / kg). IM: 1 ml / 50 kg of weight (2 to 2.2 mg / kg). After administration of XYLAZINA 10% the equine must be kept in a calm environment until achieving the maximum sedation effect. The administration of the indicated dose produces sedation for a period of 1 to 2 hours with analgesia during the first 15 to 30 minutes. Local anesthetic supplement: used at the same doses indicated for sedation in conjunction with local anesthesia. Pre-anesthetic: it is used at the same doses as in sedation. Due to the additive effect of central nervous system depression, only ½ to 1/3 of the dose of barbiturates should be administered to achieve a plane of surgical anesthesia. Interval between doses: if necessary, the dosage can be repeated totally or partially according to the Veterinarian's criteria. It is recommended as a repeat dose: EV: 0.25 ml / 50 kg (0.5 mg / kg). Application Route: intravenous or intramuscular injectable
