ACTION:
Sulfated Glycosaminoglycans
(Chondroitin Sulfate) are important constituents of articular cartilage,
forming part of the proteoglycans, molecules that due to their three-dimensional
arrangement and hydrophilic character, provide cartilage with its property of
selective permeation, water retention, elasticity and resistance to
compression. It has been widely demonstrated that an exogenous contribution of
Chondroitin Sulfate as therapy of asticular and tendon pathologies yields
excellent results thanks to its anti-inflammatory, analgesic,
chondroprotective, chondroreparative properties and its ability to stimulate
the biosynthesis of proteoglycans (Chondrogenesis) and collagen (Collagenogenesis).
INDICATIONS:
Osteoarticular regenerator,
chondrogenesis promoter, anti-arthrosis, non-infectious arthritis,
osteoarthrosis, hydrarthrosis and other degenerative astropathies,
chondropathies, synovitis, tendinitis. Coadjuvant in the treatment and
prophylaxis of osteoarticular pathologies, coadjuvant in fracture repair and
post osteoarticular surgery.
Osteochondrosis. Joint
anti-inflammatory.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
The product should not be applied to
those animals that show hypersensitivity to any of the components. Do not use
in pregnant females because its innocuousness has not been demonstrated.
DOSAGE AND ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION:
Sport Equines:
In acute cases:
Attack dose: 1 ml every 80-100 kg of
weight every 24 hours 3-4 days.
Maintenance dose: 1 ml every 80-100 kg
of weight every 7 days.
In chronic cases: 1 ml every 80-100 kg
of weight every 7 days.
The medication has no painkiller,
analgesic or anti-inflammatory, it is therefore a natural medication and hence
its absence of intolerance. Administer exclusively by intramuscular route.
PRESENTATION: Package containing 5
ampoule vials x 5 ml.
Chondroitin sulfate 12%.
Glucosamine 20%.
