Active Ingredients:
- Dimethylsulfoxid – 100% Sterile -
Indications:
- Traumas of the C.N.S, lumbodorsal myalgias of neurological origin, medullar compression, laminitis, endotoxemias, septic arthritis, equine protozoal myeloencephalitis and pneumonias.
Dosage and administration:
- When dealing with C.N.S disorders, or when the diuretic effect is more important, the dose shall be of 0,1 – 1ml for each kg of body weight, always dilute the drug in physiological salt solution with the following percentages: 20% of D.M.S.O and 80% of physiological salt solution. When dealing with less serious disorders such as bronchitis and pulmonary bleeding induced by exercise, a dose of 10ml once or twice a day should be sufficient, always diluting the drug in physiological salt solution with the percentages above mentioned. In cases of articular wash-outs, the dose will depend on the size of the articulation and the discretion of the professional in charge. It can be administered by intra-articular or slow intravenous injection.
